Silent Hill
Christophe Gans, 2006

Get in the car and put that blindfold on. Don't ask why, just do it. You'll find out where we're taking you soon enough. When we reach the outskirts (of a little town called Silent Hill), we'll either stop there and congratulate you on a job well-done or proceed onward. It's up to you. Just don't take us too far because if you do, there's no turning back. How will you know when to say, "Yes, we are" when we ask, "Are we there yet?"

Silent Hill
You'll smell something burning (the town, itself) and all radio communication will be lost.

Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?
Live and learn. Learn and live!

Frights, Camera, Trivia

"Beware the stare of Mary Shaw. She had no children, only dolls. And something, something scary." That was all Lisa (Laura Regan) could remember. Help her out here and finish the poem.
2. Let us get this straight; you're telling us that Lisa spoke to her husband moments before he found her? How could that be? She was dead, wasn't she? That was one reason why Detective Lipton (Donnie Wahlberg) thought Jamie (Ryan Kwanten) was lying. What was the other?

3. How does one get rid of a ventriloquist dummy that keeps reappearing? Easy, incinerate the bastard! And if that doesn't work? Well, this probably won't either, but it's worth a shot. It's what Jamie did at Henry's (Michael Fairman) urging.

4. Who wants to take a stab at this one? We're thinking of a 9-letter word that rhymes with hexed. It wasn't repeated in the film, but Detective Lipton said he mentioned it frequently.

5. Detective Lipton asked Jamie a question when he spoke to him through Billy (Enn Reitel) in the chapter
entitled Bury The Doll. Do you remember what it was? We do.

6. Few people go anywhere without their cell phone. Detective Lipton always seemed to have one of these. What are we referring to?

7. Mary (Judith Roberts) stated in her will that she wanted to be buried with her dolls, all 101 of them. Strange? Perhaps, but nowhere near as strange as her other request. One could say that was "beyond bizarre!"

8. Each one of Mary's dolls had a distinguishing mark. Fetch Billy for us and we'll show you where it is. He might even tell you, himself.

9. The Raven's Fair cemetery would be the place to go if one were looking for Mary's grave. But that's not what we're after. We want to spend a night in the theater she haunted. You
can take us there yourself, or just tell us the name of it.

10. Want the answer to our last question? Come closer… we'll whisper it in your ear. Lisa had to die because __________ .
