When Ash found Linda in the woods, he knew that something was wrong because she was laughing hysterically. He was also frightened by her appearance, and by the way she moved. Did he back away when he saw what she became, move closer or … Remember who we're talking about here, kids. A stupid answer may very well be the correct one.

Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

Ash (Bruce Campbell), Scottie (Hal Delrich), Linda (Betsy Baker), Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss), and Shelly (Sarah York) were shaken by two separate occurrences in the film's opening sequence. One involved the bridge. What did the other scare involve?
2. What if someone in the fine state of Tennessee hit upon the idea of building an exact replica of the cabin as a tourist attraction? Can you think of a better place to throw a Halloween party? We can't. One of the drinking games might go something like this: a piece of paper is ripped up into 13 pieces and then handed out to 13 people at the party. Each person is then asked to think of a trivia question that involves some type of action. For instance, "Go to the spot where the keys to the cabin were found and then repeat what Scottie said right before he opened the door." Two shots for every question you get right… a shot of something far less desirable if you miss it. Where would you end up if the question you drew read, "Retrace Scottie's footsteps after he remarked, (I'll be) back in a minute"?

3. The cover illustration that Ash saw in The Book of the Dead differed in some way from the actual cover. For one, it didn't appear to be alive when he found it. Did the drawing depict a face with rotting teeth and no eyes, a gaping mouth with jagged teeth or two demonic eyes and a mouth with a few upper teeth?

4. When Ash asked Cheryl if she was attacked by
The Evil Dead
(1) Their car almost collided with a truck when the steering wheel "jerked" out of Scottie's hands. (2) The cellar (3) The drawing had two demonic eyes and some upper teeth. (4) Cheryl left the cabin to find out who or what was making the noises she heard. (5) You could point to the car not starting (Cheryl did). The reason why Ash ignored that warning was because he didn't interpret it as one.

(6) His mouth started to bleed, he lost consciousness and he was attacked by Shelly. (7) A fireplace (8) Yes (9) Outside the cabin, near a tree (10) Cheryl's sketch book, assuming she dated her drawing of the clock.

He backed away. We had to stop and think about that one too.

something in the woods, she cried, "No, it was the woods themselves. They're alive. The trees... they're alive!""
Why did she leave the cabin?

5. The destruction of the bridge certainly made Ash stop and think, maybe there was some truth to what Cheryl was saying. What was the first warning in the chapter entitled "I Want To Leave This Place…"? And why did Ash choose to ignore it?

6. Scottie mentioned something about a trail when he was asked if there was a way around the bridge. He also tried to warn Ash about the trees. "They're alive…" What happened when he tried to finish that sentence?

7. One of the scenes in the chapter entitled Ash is Alone; The Final Battle was literally turned upside down. What would you place in the background if we asked you to recreate that sequence right side up?

8. No actors were carved up with a chainsaw during the making of this film, but one came pretty close; Linda. Did Ash change his mind because he couldn't bring himself to kill his girlfriend in such a horrific way?
9. Let's say a video-camera was brought to the cabin and this film was the tape that was left behind. You're the person who finds it. Now, if you're smart, you'll grab the tape and get the hell out of there while you and your friends are still in one piece. Let's also assume you have the good sense to take it to the nearest police station. But that's really of no importance to us. What we want you to do is to tell us exactly where the camera would have been found.

10. What if we asked you to pinpoint the group's disappearance to an exact date? Could it be done? The story never mentioned a date, but it would have been possible if this item were found in the cabin. What are we referring to?
