Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?

Demons
Lamberto Bava, 1985
The remains of Nostrodamus weren't found when his tomb was opened in the movie within a movie in Demons, but it did contain a book of his prophecies and the mask that was buried with him. What did one have to do with the other?
Fede Alvarez, 2013
If a picture's worth a thousand words it should also be worth at least half as many questions. Here's our first - what was Mia (Jane Levy) sketching when her character was introduced?
2. In the grand scheme of evil things, that question was more important than you think. Why, you ask? Because those who fail to pay attention, die. How did Eric (Lou Taylor Pucci) miss the words, "Don't say it. Don't write it. Don't hear it. They open the door to him"?

3. "Naturom Demonto, Kunda, Astratta, Montosse." The sixth word that was spoken when Eric began reading the book aloud sounded an awful lot like one of the five we just mentioned. Utter it at your own risk.

4. If you want to get on us about some of the questions in this book making no sense, that's fine, just remember why we do it. The inscriptions in the Book of the Dead were also confusing and sometimes contradictory, but they were consistent about one thing. In order to stop what was unleashed, the possessed had to be dismembered, buried alive or purified by
fire, though the book itself couldn't be burned. Is any part of that statement incorrect?

5. Did you know that it's bad luck to re-gift a good luck charm? Someone who's superstitious might believe that. If David (Shiloh Fernandez) wasn't, why did he give his sister a necklace that supposedly had the power to strengthen a person's will?

6. A gift for us? You shouldn't have. From the looks of it we'd say it's that cursed book. Not because of its shape, but because of the way it's wrapped.

7. Name that smell. We're actually looking for two. You'd probably recognize the first if you followed Eric into the cellar. The second, we're not so sure, as it was only offensive to the possessed.

8. We didn't see what the group heard after Mia was tossed into the cellar, but it
sounded to us (and them) like she was slamming her body against the wall. Impossible, you say? They thought so too. Why?

9. What kind of a virus makes a person cut off their own face with a piece of glass? We can't think of one. What was David thinking when he suggested that might be the cause?

10. Ask any demon-slayer, carving up a hell-spawned abomination like a Thanksgiving turkey is never easy. The difficult part for Mia was figuring out how to start the chainsaw with a stump for a right hand. Give us a second to step back before you show us how it's done.
Evil Dead
(1) A portrait of the cabin's exterior (2) He didn't miss them. He disregarded them.
(3) "Canda" (4) The book was never referred to as the Book of the Dead, but other than that, no. (5) Because she believed in such things (6) The book was bound in a black plastic garbage bag and some barbed wire

(7) Eric said the cellar smelled like burnt hair. Mia's senses were offended by the stench of Natalie's (Elizabeth Blackmore) "filthy soul." (8) She was given a powerful sedative (9) He thought Mia could have infected Olivia (Jessica Lucas) with a virus (possibly contracted from the deceased cats in the basement) when she puked all over her face. (10) She used what was left of her arm to hold it in place.

Demons
It was said that whoever wore the mask would become an instrument of evil … a demon.
You think we're making this stuff up? It's all right there in the pages of the book.
