  ZOM COMS
Dance of the Dead
Gregg Bishop, 2008
.......................................................................................................................................
Two questions: First, if music really does soothe the savage beast, why did it take this long for someone to think about using it against the living dead? One would assume that only certain types of music would do the trick, but you never really know until you've given it a try. Grab a six-string axe and tell us how they react to ear-splitting, power chords.

Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

Freaks of Nature
(1) The hand of the girl who was running with him - in heels (Lorelei) (2) Put on a god damn shirt and no body builder poses, please. (3) Someone left an empty pot of blood and all of the donuts were eaten. Don't you just hate it when that happens? (4) That was the school's policy. The teachers were told to be more supportive of the smart students and to ignore the stupid ones. Didn't you get the memo? It was posted on the bulletin board in the teachers' lounge. (5) She tried to unionize the Malphasta Corporation's zombie workers.

(6) Cheap, zombie labor. Who wants one of those things anywhere near their food? (7) He told his son that he had nothing left to live for. (8) Been there, done that with Lorelei. (9) Puff tongue (10) Happen to his dad that night. The moon was full. (11) Someone hit her with a slushee. She laughed it off and didn't even realize what happened until Ned pointed it out. (12) He told her there was a brain in his foot. Why was it his fault? He thought his dad might start paying more attention to him if he was a zombie.

Dance of the Dead
Rock music didn't repel the dead or make them any more aggressive. They just seemed fixated upon it. Go figure.
Why are we told as children not to run with scissors, but not one of those, which could lead to far greater bodily harm and really slow a person down if they were being chased by a horde of fleet-footed zombies? We're referring to Dag (Nicholas Braun)
Robbie Pickering, 2015
and what was in his left hand when the film began.

2. Are you a bloodsucker in search of a soul(mate)? Let V Harmony stake out your immortal love. That couldn't have been Mr. Keller's (Keegan-Michael Key) favorite online dating site. He didn't get a single reply. His profile pic was the main reason why. Any suggestions in regard to what he could have done to improve it, from the neck down?

3. If you don't remember why Mr. Keller always seemed to be in such a foul mood, see our last question. Anyone who was within an earshot of the teachers' lounge heard him rip Ned (Josh Fadem) a new one for intruding upon his personal space. What else annoyed him?

4. Didn't it seem like the students who needed the most attention - those who lacked brains (humans, vampires and zombies alike) for lack of a better word, got the least amount of attention? Why was that?

5. If someone kept reminding you about something they didn't want you to forget, and we found out about it, you know we'd ask you the same thing. You also probably know where we're going with this one,

don't you? Rick (Denis Leary), Dag, Dag's mom (Joan Cusack). Why was she fired?

6. What made the Malphasta Corporation so profitable? Before you mention the riblets, let's give credit where credit is due. Operating costs, or more specifically __________ , which, if you think about it, would turn most folks off to the things for an immortal's lifetime.

7. It was a fastball to the old noggin that ended whatever hope Chaz Jr (Chris Zylka) had of making it to the show. Our hope is that the next one nails Chaz Sr (Ian Roberts) right in the nutsack. What makes us say that?

8. When a vampire tells you they want to go all the way, ask them what they mean by that, even if you think you know, just to make sure there's no misunderstanding. That's what happened with Petra (MacKenzie Davis) and Milan (Ed Westwick). Why didn't he want to be with her, "Her way"?

9. If you found out that most of the food you enjoyed contained tetrafluoraxipan, would you keep eating it? It's hard to say no to a good riblet. Liver damage, diabetes, prenatal
scoliosis and something we'll call P.T. were all linked to the chemical. The latter of which would really make our questions difficult to answer.

10. Cha-cha-cha-cha-changes. Turn and face the strain. Or just try to walk away. That's the song that popped into our head the night the Parkers' sat their son down for The Talk. They were right, it was enormous, but the question we have to ask is; if Dag was never bitten by a werewolf, why didn't the same thing __________ ?

11. If ignorance really is bliss, the life of a zombie can't be all that bad. Take Jenna (Mae Whitman) for example. What happened to her in the Designated Collar Free Zombie Area that would have pissed off even the most mild-mannered folks?

12. Ned's hopes and dreams bit the big one when Jenna bit him. That was his fault. Why? And, if she only ate brains, why did she chomp down on his foot?
