  THE BLOOD IS THE LIFE
Interview with the Vampire **
Neil Jordan, 1994
.......................................................................................................................................
We interviewed a vampire of our own not too long ago. He came to us with a few ideas for our next trivia book. While the idea of working with the undead intrigued us, we chose not to. Mainly because… Ask Louis (Brad Pitt). He had a habit of doing the same thing.

Interview with the Vampire
Armand (Antonio Banderas) wouldn't tell Louis what he wanted to know because he asked the wrong questions.

Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?
Live and learn. Learn and live!

Frights, Camera, Trivia
..................................
Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) knew exactly what Jerry Dandrige (Chris Sarandon) was from the get go. The voiceover in the film's theatrical trailer also got it right. Horrifying and unspeakably evil were two of the adjectives that were used. What did it say he was not?
2. You could point to any number of reasons as to why Charley thought his new neighbor was a vampire - the fangs, Jerry's unusually long fingers, the way he could change his appearance at will. But that just confirmed his suspicion. What raised it?

3. How does one kill a vampire? It depends on whom you ask and what kind of vampire you're up against. A simple stake through the heart will work on some, while others have to be decapitated. The rules often change from one film to another, but one thing remains constant - all are adverse to sunlight. What observation underlined that fact in the chapter entitled Peter Vincent?

4. We don't know what your favorite movie snack is, but if we had to take guess, we'd say it was popcorn. What did Jerry enjoy snacking on, besides humans?
..................................
Tom Holland, 1985
5. Wouldn't it strike you as kind of odd if you met an immortal who was obsessed with time? Jerry certainly seemed fascinated by it. What makes us say that?

6. Not a vampire but love sleeping in a coffin? We've got just the thing for you - one built for two. Try it on for size. You'll notice that it comes with the same safety mechanism that was installed in the coffin that Jerry slept in. Just in case someone mistakes you for one of the undead.

7. What would you do if you knew you were being watched? We know what Jerry did when he spotted Charlie. Tell us what you saw.

8. If you know anything about vampires, you know they can't enter someone's home without being invited in by its rightful owner. Charley obviously wasn't aware of that. If he had that information sooner, he
wouldn't have done what he did the day his mother made that mistake.

9. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of having to hire a Vampire Hunter, make sure they complete the job before you fork over your hard-earned cash. Peter (Roddy McDowall) agreed to help Charley in exchange for a $500 savings bond. Was he paid upfront?

10. You know what our first question would be if we woke up in unfamiliar surroundings? Where the hell are we!? Amy (Amanda Bearse) also wanted to know where Charley was. But Jerry only answered one of her questions. It was the one she thought about asking.
