  THE BLOOD IS THE LIFE
Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant
Paul Weitz, 2009
.......................................................................................................................................
No one chooses to become a vampire, do they? Some may long for it, but ultimately, they're chosen by others. It wasn't something that Darren (Chris Massollia) wanted. So why did he agree to become Crepsley's (John C. Reilly) assistant in Cirque du Freak?

The Grudge
(1) Because anyone who makes their living exorcising ghosts and/or demons for a living is probably a scam artist and the fact that most Japanese folks believe that, if your home truly is haunted, there's no way to get rid of the spirit(s), unlike us Westerners. (2) "Good morning" (3) If she didn't climb through the cobwebs that surrounded the entranceway to the attic that day, the ghost may have had to follow her elsewhere, like it did with Susan.
(4) Matthew (William Mapother) moving his mom into her new home. (5) A bathtub full of water

(6) She lost the rabbit's foot (and her mind) when Kayako's spirit grabbed it. She was in a hallway, on the tenth floor of the building she worked in when that happened. (7) She wasn't thinking straight, which she wasn't. Only a ghost could have gotten inside the building and up to her apartment the minute she buzzed him in. (8) The ghost of a woman who's jaw has been ripped completely off. (9) Love can be quite the unsettling thing when desire turns to obsession, which it did for Kayako (Takako Fuji). (10) She in the morgue, looking at her boyfriend's body (Jason Behr)

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant
He did it to save his friend's life.

Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?
Live and learn. Learn and live!

Frights, Camera, Trivia
..................................
Another haunted house. Another job for you know who. The Yurei Busters. Why no one tried to cash in with that idea if so many folks believed in ghosts is question numer-o uno.
2. When all else fails, try killing it with kindness. It being any apparition's nasty temper because we all know you can't kill something that's already dead. Karen (Sarah Michelle Gellar) did that. What she could have also done was repeat the first words that were spoken in the film when she entered the home, just in case any ghosts were around and listening.

3. Things that go bump in the night aren't everyone's biggest fright. Far more folks are afraid of spiders. That wasn't one of Yoko's (Yoko Maki) fears. If it were, she may have lived to see another ghost another day. What makes us say that?

4. Don't you hate it when free-floating, vaporous apparitions disappear as quickly as they reappear? We do, as long as its someone else's ghost problem. The one that hovered over Karen while she was tending to Mrs. Williams (Grace Zabriskie)
All questions and quiizzes written by Philip Cerreta unless otherwise noted

went poof when the scene cut to a flashback, of what?

5. How do you spook a spook? Perhaps the same way it became one. For Toshio (Yuya Ozeki), the sight of a BTFOW would have been a reminder of his demise. Spell (or spit) it out.

6. You ever get the feeling you're being followed, by a ghost? Susan (KaDee Strickland) had her good luck charm the night one followed her home. How and/or where did she lose it? The charm, kids, not her mind.

7. When Matthew (or at least something that looked like Susan's deceased brother) appeared outside his sister's apartment door, did she think that was him, even for a split second? She may have, but only if ...

8. First call for malevolent apparitions. Long after everyone else has left the care center, Alex (Ted
Raimi) grabs his briefcase and finally decides to head home for the night. As he descends down the staircase, a shadowy figure appears. He thinks its Yoko and he's right, but she looks nothing like her old self. What does he see when she turns to face him?

9. Photo-bombed, not once, not twice, but each and every time until your own passing by a ghost. That's creepy and cool. What would possess someone (Kayako) to do such a thing?

10. The difference between a poltergeist and a haunting? Come on, we asked you this one before. A ghost can and will follow you anywhere. Where was Karen and what was she doing when the film ended?
