THEY CAME, THEY SAW, THEY SLAUGHTERED!
My Bloody Valentine
Patrick Lussier, 2009
.......................................................................................................................................
Harry Warden (Rich Walters) wasn't buried alive in My Bloody Valentine, but he was dead and buried. Or was he? His remains were never found, so you could certainly understand why many of the local townsfolk believed he was responsible for the latest rash of killings. You don't have to lead us to his grave, just tell us where it is and we'll take it from there.

House of 1000 Corpses
(1) He just mentioned it. (2) There is no wrong answer here unless you answered, "Next question please."
(3) The first shot shattered the glass display case that contained a bust of John Hatch. (4) Their book on offbeat, roadside attractions would probably be found in the travel section. (5) Spaulding had no interest in cross-county trips, he got annoyed whenever people started asking too many questions, he liked fucking with people and he thought John Wayne was the greatest American who ever lived.

(6) There was a flyer for a missing dog head in the booth. (7) You ain't seen nothin' yet!" (8) Where did Otis believe he was destined to find happiness? (9) The Siamese fetus named Little Wolf.

My Bloody Valentine
It was located in a wooded area, just beyond the mine's old escape hatch.

Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?
Live and learn. Learn and live!

Frights, Camera, Trivia
..................................
Looking for a bloody good time and the best fried chicken we've ever tasted? Visit Captain Spaulding's (Sid Haig) Museum of Monsters and Madmen, conveniently located off Route 1 at Ruggsville. Was he snacking on it when his character was introduced or did he just

mention it in the commercial that aired at the beginning of the Dr. Wolfenstein (Gregg Gibbs) Halloween Eve movie marathon?

2. The commercial that we saw appeared in black and white. Was that because Captain Spaulding wanted it to look and feel like an old Universal horror movie, it was viewed on an old black and white TV set, or simply because he couldn't afford to shoot it in color?

3. There were five shots fired in the confrontation between Spaulding and the "'clowns" (Chad Bannon and David Reynolds) who tried to rob him at gunpoint. The second shot sent blood and brain matter flying in two different directions. What did the first shot hit?

4. They say that two heads are often better than one. Jerry (Chris Hardwick) and Bill (Rainn Wilson) must have thought so or they wouldn't have collaborated

on the book they were writing. Suppose someone found their lost manuscript and published it, as is. Another person might find it if they were browsing through which section of their local bookstore?

5. We almost became worm food when we quizzed Spaulding. What did Bill discover in regard to the things he liked and/or disliked during their initial conversation?

6. Denise (Erin Daniels) saw something that she probably interpreted as a joke when she called her dad (Harrison Young) from a phone booth near the museum. If you need some help with this one, ask yourself this question - what's "god" spelled backwards?

7. Guys, when a woman is talking to you, pay attention!  Baby (Sheri Moon) warned Bill after she scared the shit out of him in the chapter entitled Stick
'em on the Wall, but he didn't give much thought to what she said. What line of dialogue are we referring to?

8. We'll give you the answer to this one, you give us the question - Only in that which couldn't be explained.

9. If you're not familiar with how this next question works, we provide an excerpt from one of the film's feature commentaries. Your task is to identify the scene (or, as is the case here, the reference) based on that excerpt. It's that simple.

Rob Zombie: "It's one of my favorite (props) because it's (so) realistic. And usually the first thing people want to do when they think it's real is take it out of the jar and play with it."
