Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?

Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom
(10) "Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory." (11) She thought they were a flock of birds and she only saw them from afar. (12) That what happens when you don't pay attention to what you're reaching for. (13) The Sultan of Madagascar threatened to cut off Indy's balls if he ever returned to his country. (14) A piece of gum fell out of his mouth when his jaw dropped open. (15) They floated to the surface when she stirred the soup.

(16) The skull that Indy tried to use as a wedge (17) Mola Ram ripped out the victim's heart with his bare hand, the wound closed before his eyes, the still beating heart burst into flames and the person never even lost consciousness. (18) She hoped it would snap him out of his trance. (19) It did show the henchman getting pulled into the machine, and there was blood, but it didn't splatter. (20) He was jumping up and down on the bridge to show Willie that it was sturdy enough to cross.

Indiana Jones and trhe Last Crusade
Kneeling in front of some swinging blades, stepping on the correct stones to spell the name of God and making a leap of faith
(walking across a bridge he couldn't see).

11. Let's say the special edition DVD came with a Jump to a Scream option. The menu would include the vampire bat that was mistaken for an article of clothing, but not the cluster. Tell us why Willie didn't lose her composure then.

12. Sorry, kids, absolutely, positively no refunds on any of our signed books. What you can do, if it'll help, is toss them right back at us. See where we're going with this one? If that was how Willie found out Indy's fear of snakes, and she hated them as much as he did, why would she even touch one?

13. Let's see if you can figure this one out. We're thinking of someone who was mentioned in the film but never appeared on screen. Here's your only clue: A fitting punishment - two jewels for the theft of the jewels he treasured.

14. Yum, yum give us some. Willie fainted at the sight of the chilled monkey
brains. How did Short react when he saw what was in the "Snake Surprise"?

15. "Waiter, there's an eyeball in my soup!" Willie noticed more than one. The question is when. Did they float to the surface when she stirred the soup or were they visible (so to speak)
from the get-go?
16. You remember how Luke (Mark Hamill) brought down the Rancor Pit monster in Return of the Jedi, don't you? Indy had some of the same resources at his disposal in the chamber that almost became his tomb, but his situation was a little more complicated because what comes down, doesn't always go back up - or stop. What are we referring to?

17. If Willie didn't turn her head away in the Temple of Doom, she may have fainted a second time. Tell her what she missed and what made us shake ours' in disbelief.

18. Here's blood in your eye, and a lugi in your face. Indy spit in Mola Ram's (Amrish Puri) when he was forced to drink some blood. When Willie' did the same thing to Indy, she thought it would help him. Really? How?

19. Dear Mr. Spielberg, Two cuts are needed in order to secure a PG rating. The first involves the beating heart. The other is the Chief Henchman's (Philip Tann) demise. You can't show him getting pulled into the rock-crushing machine. We also feel that any spray of blood is too disturbing for children under the age of thirteen. Sincerely, The Ratings Board. We don't have to tell
you what he decided to do, do we? The question is, did the latter sequence go that far?

20. It was probably a good thing that Mola Ram didn't survive his fall from the rope bridge, given what was waiting for him in the river below. What was Short doing and/or trying to do when he almost fell to his death?
"Your word is, "Sivalinga." We're not asking you to spell it. We can't even pronounce it, but if you can use it in a sentence, it might help us remember what the hell it means. What answer would we get if we asked Indy the same question?
Our unholy grail is a cool, Ossuary skull beer stein. The real thing, if such a thing even does exist, wouldn't be worth the price or the risk if your life has any value. Indy (Harrison Ford) was already a marked man when he stole, that's right we said "Stole," the grail by passing three tests: The Breath of God, the Word of God and the Path of God. What did each of those challenges involve?
Steven Spielberg, 1984
