Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

It was Weston (Sam Hardy) who raised the first question in the film. The answer to that question was "Yes." What did he want to know?
2. Crazy? Maybe. Secretive? Certainly. Reckless? Definitely! Those were just a few of the reasons why Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) had to take matters into his own hands to find an actress for his next picture. Why didn't he choose any of the women he found at the mission?

3. Let's say you want to test someone on their knowledge of this film, but you don't think they're up to the challenge of most of the questions here. You could look for some Kong trivia online if you want to browse through a couple of hundred websites. But you'd be lucky to find 10, maybe 20 questions tops that don't fall into one of the following two categories - "Multiple Choice" or "Let's go with Insult my intelligence for $300, Alex." So what other option does that leave? We're glad you asked. The answer to that question is our promo books. Now, let's say you want to start with question 12 (How did Denham find out about the uncharted island?). Your friend kind of remembers, but he isn't quite sure. "Could I have a clue?" he asks. What two countries and/or cities would you mention if the clues pertained to A. Denham's whereabouts when he obtained that information and B. The nationality of the
Rock, paper, giant ape. There's no winning that game, unless you know what soothes the savage beast. For Joe, all it usually took was a couple of bananas and the sound of Jill's (Terry Moore) voice whenever she whistled or sang what song?

King Kong
(1) He asked someone, "Is this the moving picture ship?" (2) They didn't have the right look and most appeared to be over the age of 40.
(3) Singapore and Norway (4) God or spirit, neither beast nor man, and something monstrous and all powerful. (5) She and Driscoll fell into a river when they let go of the vine that Kong tried to pull up.

(6) After he killed the cave serpent (7) Kong sank his teeth into the first person he grabbed outside the theater. (8) Denham (9) The waving of his arm indicated some type of warning. (10) The planes flew in one at a time, hit Kong with as many bullets as they could, flew away so another plane could move in, and then circled the building before moving in again.

skipper who first discovered the island?

4. The young women who were sacrificed to Kong were called, "The Brides of Kong." What did the word "Kong" mean?

5. Ann's (Fay Wray) first and some say, best chance to escape came when Kong was attacked by the Tyrannosaurus rex. The reason why she didn't run was because she didn't think she could get away. Put yourself in the same situation. You'd have to climb down a tree and then pray to God that you weren't spotted or crushed to death. The latter almost happened when the tree fell. How did she finally get away?

6. Kong beat his chest after he killed the T-rex. That wasn't something he did after every battle, but it did happen more times than not. When did he do it again?

7. How would you want to meet your maker if a giant, rampaging ape ever set its sights on you? Stomped on? Chewed up and spit out? Or dropped from a height that would kill the beast, as well? The first person that Kong killed in New York City could tell you what one of those felt like if they could speak to you from the great
beyond. What happened to that unlucky stiff?

8. Where could a gorilla the size of a house hide in New York City? Nowhere, one would think. Even in the dark. Who asked, "What can we do (to find him)?"

9. When Kong spotted the biplanes during his climb up the Empire State Building, he stopped and then made some type of gesture, either towards Ann and/or the approaching planes. What did that gesture indicate?

10. If we asked you how the pilots coordinated their attack, you could say, "They flew in and hit Kong with as many bullets as they could." But there was more to it than that. What would the correct answer be?
