Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?
Live and learn. Learn and live!

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
(1) Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, Aragorn and Boromir (2) Frodo, Gandalf, Bilbo Baggins, Gollum, Isildur and Sauron. (3) The hearts of men were easily corrupted and above all else they desired power. (4) Two (5) Deagol, but if you didn't read the novel or watch the last film first, you wouldn't have known that.

(6) Hobbits had pointed ears and longer (and hairier) feet (7) "Shire" and "Baggins" (8) A. True B. That never happened. Frodo did inquire about Gandalf's whereabouts, but he didn't describe what he looked like. Someone else did. C. That's also incorrect. Frodo wasn't jumped. (9) He sliced his finger open when he touched the blade. We'll see if a Ginsu can do that after it's been buried for 3,000 years. Well, not us specifically, anyone who can find one and these crazy questions of ours. (10) The Ringwraiths' steed

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
You'd arrive at the coming of the first light on the fifth day
All questions and quiizzes written by Philip Cerreta unless otherwise noted
..................................
The Fellowship was comprised of four Hobbits, a grey wizard, a dwarf, an elf, the heir to the throne of Gondor and one of its sons. Name five of those individuals. You can't ask for an easier first question than that.
Peter Jackson, 2001
2. "One Ring to rule them all. One Ring to find them. One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them." That item changed hands no less than six times in the first half-hour of this film. Do your best to name those folks - in reverse order.

3. If someone like Galadriel (Cate Blanchett), the most powerful Elf in all of Middle-earth, couldn't resist the power of the One Ring, what chance did Isildur (Harry Sinclair) have? None, if you ask us. This was the reason why.

4. It was said that history became legend when the One Ring disappeared. Was it lost for over two millennia or three?

5. The One Ring brought an unnaturally long life to anyone who possessed it, but not every ring-bearer lived beyond their years. Isildur was one example. Give us another.

6. What would your answer be if we asked you how Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) differed from most other Hobbits? You could repeat what Gandalf (Ian McKellen) said; "He's far too eager and curious," but what about the differences between Hobbits and Men? How could someone distinguish one from the
other if the Hobbits' size were taken out of the equation?

7. If we've already told you how much our head hurts after we finish writing one of these quizzes it's only because we can't remember doing so. We're not complaining. Others have it far worse, and nothing to show for it. Our friend, Gollum (Andy Serkis), was tortured without end for what he had, but only two words were discerned amidst the endless screams and his inane babbling. You didn't forget what they were, did you?

8. If a patron at the Prancing Pony tavern was questioned after Frodo left, this is what he may have said. Your task here is to tell us what's true and what never happened.

A. He introduced himself as Mr. Underhill
B. He said he was looking for an elderly chap with a grey beard and a pointy hat.
C. Don't ask me how, but he disappeared when he was jumped. That was the last
I saw of him.

9. Some would (and probably did) kill just for the chance to touch what was left of the blade that severed the ring from Sauron's (Sala Baker) hand. Boromir (Sean Bean) didn't
think much of it, until he touched it and that happened.

10. Remember the old Visine commercial that promised to get the red out? Well, if that product were marketed to Orcs, it would never sell. Yes, we know, only some of the creatures had red eyes, but an irritated eye was the least of their problems. The product would also be of no use to another creature in Middle-earth. The answer we're looking for here isn't "Sauron."
The Two Towers
Peter Jackson, 2002
The shortest distance between two points may be a straight line, but it's not always the smartest choice. Not when the road runs through Middle-Earth. If we sent you on a journey from the Fangorn Forest to Isengard and that journey began when Gandalf and Aragorn went their separate ways and ended when the grey wizard promised to return, how long would it take you to reach your destination?
