  THE BLOOD IS THE LIFE
The Lost Boys
Joel Schumacher, 1987
.......................................................................................................................................
When Max's (Edward Herrmann) dog chased Lucy (Dianne Wiest), it reminded Sam (Corey Haim) of something he read about. It was believed that a vampire required a protector (the Hounds of Hell) to watch over them while they slept. That was one reason why he thought Max was a nosferatu. What else drew his suspicion?

Pet Sematary
(1) Nothing that they probably already didn't know. The older graves were marked by the stones that were harder to read, and closest to the interior of the circle. (2) Massive Head Wound Harry, or whatever that poor chap's name was. Louis wanted to know how he knew his name. Our question would have been, how the hell am I still alive!? (3) His feet were covered in mud. (4) Looking down or stopping (5) Each had to bury their own. In other words, it had to be done by the pet's owner.

(6) Louis shouted "Jesus" when the cat hissed at him. (7) He did it to spare Ellie (Blaze Berdahl). He didn't think she was ready to learn about death. (8) He wandered off to follow the kite he was flying when he was struck and killed. (9) He was standing in his son's grave at the time. Ask Mr. King why the patrol car didn't notice the pile of dirt. We don't have an answer for that one. (10) Gage dragged Crandall's body under a bed after he killed the old man and he hung his mother's body from a beam in the attic.

The Lost Boys
Max only worked the evening shift.

Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?
Live and learn. Learn and live!

Frights, Camera, Trivia
..................................
Hush little baby don't you cry, mama's gonna resurrect you if you die. It wasn't Rachel (Denise Crosby) who used the old Indian burial ground to bring her deceased son back to life, it was Louis (Dale Midkiff), but that was the song we thought of when Gage (Miko Hughes) was hushed in the pet cemetery.
What did the Creeds learn about the place during their first visit?

2. Louis never got an answer to a question he asked twice during his first day on the job as a physician at a local college. We'll make it easy and just ask, to whom was it addressed?

3. Was it really only a dream the night Louis was haunted by the vision of the massive head wound guy, aka Victor Pascow (Brad Greenquist)? If it wasn't, how would you explain what he saw in the morning. He couldn't and neither could we.

4. Getting from one side of the cemetery to the Micmac burial ground without breaking one's neck was no easy task. But if an old man like Crandall (Fred Gwynne) could do it, you'd figure Louis could, as well. The key was in knowing the right places to step, moving easy and not doing this.
5. What if we dug up Crandall's old dog, and followed his instructions to a T in an attempt to resurrect the beast a second time? Or any pet in the cemetery for that matter. Would it work? The answer is no, it wouldn't. Tell us why.

6. The Creed's cat obviously wasn't the same when it came back from the dead, so we'd like to rename it. How about calling it __________ ? That was the first word that Louis uttered upon its return which seems appropriate, if you think about it, which we did.

7. If Crandall knew what would become of the Creed's deceased cat after it was brought back from the dead, why would he talk Louis into doing it? It doesn't make much sense, does it? Explain that one.

8. You can blame the speeding truck, but maybe, just maybe, if the Creed's didn't own one of these, their son might be alive
today. Yeah, we know it's a stretch, but that's just how these warped gears of ours' turn sometimes.

9. Remember the patrol car that drove past Gage's grave the night Louis exhumed his son's body? He didn't seem too concerned about it. He just smiled and went about his business after it passed. That's what folks who have completely lost it do, folks. Our question is, why didn't it see him.

10. Sometimes dead is better. Sometimes it's stronger too. The undead, that is. What did we see that makes us say that?
