Unless you're a zombie or some carnivorous monstrosity that feeds on Hypothalamus glands. If you know anything about evolutionary biology, you know why Dr. Green's (Penelope Ann Miller) initial idea to kill the creature in The Relic would have worked. Of course, we're assuming you don't.
Put your knowledge of all-things that creep, slither and crawl to the test with the only movie monster survival guide/quiz book of its kind.

What will you do when they come for you?
Live and learn. Learn and live!

Saw
(1) He was submerged in a bathtub full of water. (2) His face was illuminated by the light from the keychain. (3) The clue we gave you was Dread. Adam knew he wasn't alone when he heard Dr. Gordon say, "You're not dead." (4) Yes, a shutter. (5) The pig mask (6) "You'd be dead or in excruciating pain."  That's what eased Adam's concern. (7) He was facing Adam.

(8) Would you take someone's life to save your own? That was the purpose of the bullet. The key unlocked the box that was found in the wall.
(9) Apathetic (10) "Are you going to watch yourself die today, Adam, or do something about it?" (11) To the hacksaws that were hidden in the toilet tank. (12) He was afraid of breaking it (13) How deep he cut himself. Traces of his stomach acid were found on the floor. (14) His penlight was found at the crime scene. (15) No

Candyman
Helen (Virginia Madsen) first laid eyes upon the Candyman in a parking garage so the correct answer would be a rear-view mirror.
Compiled by Philip Cerreta and Amanda Gyuro
Candyman
Bernard Rose, 1992
To summon "the ghost with the most" (Michael Keaton) in Beetlejuice, all one had to do was repeat his name three times. The Candyman (Tony Todd) appeared to anyone who repeated his name in a mirror. Find one in the scene we're thinking of. It introduced the film's two main characters. Not to the viewer, but to each other.
What would you do if you woke up in unfamiliar surroundings with no memory of how you got there? Sounds like the morning after a few too many drinks, doesn't it? Adam (Leigh Whannell) was lucky to wake up, at all. Tell us why.
James Wan, 2004
2. Adam couldn't see a thing when he regained consciousness, but the viewer could see him. Explain that one.

3. Dr. Gordon's (Cary Elwes) first words answered two questions. If you don't remember what he said, here's a clue - what's a five-letter word for the fear of something that may happen? Now, think of a word that rhymes with that one.

4. Parking garages give some people the creeps, and for good reason. Dr. Gordon was on his way home from work the night he was abducted, or so he claimed. Did he recall hearing anything prior to that?

5. Suppose it was you in that garage, waiting for Dr. Gordon. Would you have gone about it the same way? Our guess would be probably not, unless you wanted to call attention to yourself. What seemed to say, "Fuck the element of surprise!"?

6. One of our favorite urban legends goes something like this: boy meets girl, girl takes boy back to her place, girl drugs boy, boy wakes up in a bathtub full of ice with a tube sticking out of his back. For some reason, Adam thought one of his kidneys was removed. He
was drugged and he did wake up in a bathtub, but that's where the similarities ended. What would you say to someone who expressed the same concern?

7. The third person in the room appeared to be dead because he was lying in a pool of his own blood, but his head wasn't face down. It couldn't have been or he would have suffocated. Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) had to position himself in a certain way for his game to work. So the question here is this; who had a better vantage point in regard to what he looked like?

8. Adam found a cassette tape in the envelope that was placed in his pocket. When Dr. Gordon opened his, he found the same thing along with two other items. What was the purpose of each?

9. The voice on one of those tapes described Adam as a strange mix of someone who was angry, and yet __________, but mostly just pathetic. What's the word we're looking for here?

10. "Let the game begin!" Those were the last words on Dr. Gordon's tape. How did Adam's message end?

11. Remember the words "Follow your heart"? Where did that clue lead?
12. When Dr. Gordon asked Adam to toss him the cassette recorder so he could play his message, he insisted on playing it for him. Do you remember why?

13. How much blood would you shed to stay alive? Our guess would be more than you think. Maybe you wouldn't saw off your own foot, but what if the only other way out involved tunneling your way through barbwire? What signified that person's will to live?

14. You remember why Dr. Gordon was so hesitant to reveal his whereabouts that night, don't you? So try answering this question - How did he become a suspect in Paul's murder?

15. It was the newspapers who dubbed Adam and Dr. Gordon's kidnapper "The Jigsaw Killer," but technically, he couldn't be called a murderer because he found ways for his victims to kill themselves. Is any part of that statement incorrect?
